Designed by surgeons, the new Cimarron Surgical Care Center is equipped with the latest in technology for general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, cosmetic surgery and gynecologic surgery to facilitate the careful and safe recovery of patients. Using minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic surgery, patients leave the Surgical Care Center the same day and recover quicker.

Technology

The laparoscopic approach is intended to minimize post-operative pain and speed up recovery times, while maintaining an enhanced visual field for surgeons. Due to improved patient outcomes, laparoscopic surgery is preferred for gastrointestinal surgery, Lap-Band, urology, wound treatments and incisional hernias. It is commonly used for cancer surgery such as cancer of colon.

Lower Cost

Patients generally pay less coinsurance for procedures furnished in the ASC environment than comparable procedures in the hospital setting. Faster acting and more effective anesthetics and less invasive techniques, such as arthroscopy, endoscope and laparoscopic surgeries have driven this change.
