Plan to have a driver available to transport you home after your procedure. You will not be released to drive yourself home under any circumstances after anesthesia. Patient care is always our priority, even on your ride home!

When you have sufficiently recovered from anesthesia, after your procedure, your family member/assistant will be asked to drive to the Surgery Center Exit Door to pick you up. You will be escorted to the car through the Surgery Center Exit Door located west of the main entrance.

If you are providing transportation for a child after surgery, please provide a child safety car seat.
