 Dr. Peter C. Lafon General Surgeon Dr. Peter Lafon has lived, worked and invested in the Cushing community for 20 years. He is a full partner and co-owner of Cimarron Healthcare Surgical Care Center in Cushing, OK. Dr Lafon is on staff at Drumright Regional Hospital, Stroud Regional Hospital & Perry Memorial Hospital as well as the new Cimarron Surgical Care Center. Dr Lafon routinely preforms a variety of outpatient procedures at the surgery center including colonoscopy, EGD, laparoscopic surgery and gallbladders, as well as breast and hernia surgery.

Dr. Melton graduated with honors from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He opened his first dental practice in Drumright in 1972. In 1976 he sold his practice and entered the University of Nebraska Medical Center for two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry. For 13 years Dr. Melton practiced in Springfield, MO exclusively as a pediatric dentist.
Dr. Melton holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), a distinction only attained by approximately 1 percent of dentists in the nation. He has served on the national board of trustees of the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He currently serves as President-elect of the Oklahoma Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Melton recently completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Melton has actively practiced dentistry for 31 years.
At the new “state of the art” Cimarron Surgical Care Center, Co-owner Dr. Melton performs dental care for young children and special needs adults under general anesthetic. Licensed for Pediatric Conscious Sedation, Dr. Melton, along with surgery staff, provide this service for patients referred from a multi-county region.

A native Oklahoman, Dr. Melton was born and raised in Okemah. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Medical Science. Dr. Melton returned to Drumright in 1991 opening the general dentistry practice, Drumright Dental Center. Dr. Melton has encouraged and facilitated the dental careers of many local Drumright students. Dr. Melton is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Drumright Lions Club.
Family
Dr. Melton and his wife Kathy enjoy traveling and working together. They especially enjoy annual mission trips where they provide dentistry services in third world countries. The Meltons have four grown children.

 Dr. Frank L. Hubbard
Dr. Hubbard has called Cushing home since 1988 and is co-owner and founder of Cimarron Healthcare Center that opened January 2006. He practices Family Medicine, supervises the Urgent Care Clinic and routinely performs EGD and colonoscopy procedures in the Surgical Care Center. Dr. Hubbard is on staff at Drumright Regional Hospital and Stroud Regional Hospital. He serves as attending physician for Cushing Valley Hope, and Medical Director for Drumright Nursing Home and River Crossing Hospice. As a Federally Certified Medical Review Officer, he oversees the drug and alcohol screening process for numerous companies in and around the Cushing area.

 Dr. Alfonso A. Cardenas
Dr. Cardenas has lived and worked in the Cushing community for 22 years. He owned a successful OB/GYN practice in Cushing for 20 years before retiring. "My patients encouraged me to come out of retirement" said Dr. Cardenas.
Dr. Cardenas joined the medical staff at the new Cimarron Healthcare Center and Surgical Care Center in 2006. "I am looking forward to seeing my patients at Cimarron Healthcare Center and Drumright Regional Hospital Clinic. I plan to diagnose and treat women’s health care issues for all women in Cushing, Drumright, Chandler, and the surrounding communities" said Cardenas.

 Dr. Jonathan Pillow
Ear nose and throat specialist primarily deal with symptoms of ear aches, sinus problems, sore throats, tonsils/adenoids, and ear tubes in children, to aid in drainage of the inner ear.
“Dr. Pillow is a valuable addition to our growing medical services at Cimarron HealthCare Center,” said Dr. Hubbard, co-owner of the facility. He will be providing a full range of ear nose and throat care for both adults and children.
Dr. Pillow graduated Alpha Omega with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Oklahoma County Medical Society, the Oklahoma State Medical Association and the American Medical Association..
Dr. Pillow received his undergraduate degree in biology, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tulsa. He currently resides in Edmond, with his wife and five children.
